The course will consider different writing syles including prose, poetry, memoir and journaling. Participants will be encouraged to share and reflect on each other's work. The program will also include examples and material from a selection of writers.
Sue works as a poet. performer and reviewer. Her work has been published by Penguin Australia, Picador, Allen and Unwin, Pardalote Press and New York University Press. Her most recent collection, titled "Facepack" was launched in August 2008. Her first children's picture book, titled "Precious Little", will be published by Allen and Urwin in late 2009. Sue has facilitated creative writing classes for Adult Education, the Tasmanian Writers' Centre and students at the University of Tasmania.
